| Invitation to service providers in the field of Traceability, Certification and Audit training.
The BSI would like to invite expressions of interest from third parties who have the requisite experience and who would like to work with the BSI in designing, testing and implementing an integral traceability system, both book and claim and mass balance, a Central Certificate Administration and Chain of Custody Certification. In addition we would also like Epressions of Interest for methodology, content and supporting documentation for the development of auditor training courses.
The BSI is an international organisation promoting sustainable sugarcane production throughout the world by means of a global standard which in cor porates cor e social and production principles. Version 2 of the Standard is available for scrutiny on the BSI’s website. The website also contains details of the BSI’s mission and membership.
The BSI was established in 2005 and it currently has over 350 members .
During the course of 2008 and 2009 the BSI Standard was developed in ac cor dance with ISEAL governance requirements and the final Version of the Standard is expected to be available soon.
All applications in writing to be received not later than 30 January 2010. BSI reserves the right to elect to conduct further interaction with such parties as it feels can usefully make a contribution to the process outlined above at its own discretion. Terms of Reference will be developed in consultation with successful parties.
